17. District

Hernals, the 17th district of Vienna, is bordered to the northwest by the Vienna Woods with its green hills, hiking trails, picnic areas and great views of the city. The Dornbach and Neuwaldegg areas with their villas have a village atmosphere. In the south-east of Hernals you find a multicultural, urban flair with modest Viennese bars and Turkish shops. Hernals is home to the traditional cabaret theater scenery and metropolitan area.
