12. District

Meidling is the 12th district of Vienna and is located southwest of the city center. On the Meidlinger Markt on the Niederhofstraße, in addition to market stalls and restaurants, there is also a farmer's market with rural goods. In the 12th district you will find many castles and villas besides the classical residential bulidings. The railway tracks of the ÖBB to the west and south of the railway station Wien Meidling were extended and converted for high-speed traffic.
