A good paint is usually worth the same as a total reconstruction, but comes with less dirt and money. The impact of the powerful colors to the apartment has no doubt. If you want to widen your room optically, we advise a colorful floor with white walls and ceiling. If the side walls are colored, the back wall and the ceiling are white and the floor has the color of any kind of a natural wood, the whole room will be seen thinner. So this could be useful if our room seems too wide or too big.

If the room is small and short, the solution could be to paint the walls and the ceiling with a light color. If we are creative enough we can paint patterns or stripes on the wall, and play with the motives to change the outlook of the room. For example the horizontal lines make the space wider, but the verticals make it higher. We can use these tips on the floor as well.
